This course provides a comprehensive understanding of using QuickTest Professional as an automated functional testing tool for different environments. QuickTest Professional's graphical point and click interface is used to create and run automated tests. This course addresses topics such as recording and running tests, adding synchronization points and verification steps, modularizing and reusing tests. You will manage objects in the Object Repository, which stores test object properties. The Object Spy tool is used to view object properties at run time. All topics are supported by extensive handson exercises that are based on real-life examples designed to provide you with the knowledge necessary to automate testing using QuickTest Professional.
