Peter has worked in the IT industry for more than 35 years as a software engineer, pre- and post-sales consultant and trainer.
His development experience includes work using assembler, Fortran, PL/1, Coral 66 and VB on air traffic control, air defence, online transaction processing and network messaging protocol systems and capture/playback and security testing tools. He later became principal consultant at Performance Software (later Cyrano), a leading supplier of testing tools in OpenVMS, UNIX and Windows client/server environments, undertaking testing projects on behalf of clients in travel, finance and telecom. He has spoken at international testing conferences in the UK, USA, Europe and Africa, and is an experienced and certified trainer in both testing and sales skills.
