A QTA has proven:

Comprehensive understanding of fundamental testing principles
Knowledge of current and future change in software development and testing
Practical, applicable skills in test analysis, design and execution

QTA is awarded on successful completion of two courses:

ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (assessed by multiple-choice examination)

and

Practical Test Analysis (assessed by evaluation of work you produce during the course)
